Poem: The Rainy Season
The rain is falling down,
The clouds are dark and grey,
The wind is blowing strong,
The birds have all flown away.
The streets are wet and slick,
The cars are all in a jam,
The people are all running,
Trying to stay dry and warm.
But I don't mind the rain,
I love the sound it makes,
It's like a lullaby,
That soothes my soul and breaks
The stress of everyday life,
It's a time to relax,
And let go of all your cares,
And just enjoy the moment.
So next time it rains,
Don't be afraid to go outside,
And get wet and wild,
And have some fun.
The rainy season is a time of renewal,
A time to let go of the past,
And start fresh.
So embrace the rain,
And let it wash away your troubles,
And make you feel brand new.
